This unique subboiling apparatus is used to produce high purity acids for use in trace analysis. Since the acid is always fresh, it is guaranteed to be analytically pure.  Contaminated acids can even be re-cleaned.   By cleaning less expensive, low purity acids, you save up to 90% of the cost of analytically pure acids.  The system usually pays for itself within the first year of use.

The Acid Purification Apparatus is corrosion-free due to the use of high grade fluoropolymers.  Distillate comes into contact only with high purity PFA.  The infrared lamp allows contact-free heating and is set to ensure that the maximum temperature of the acids remains 10% less than their respective boiling point without using temperature controls. This makes it easy to use – just refill!
